Audrey Wilhite

My name is Audrey Wilhite and I teach one of the 4 year old TK classes. I have been teaching here at First Baptist since 2012. Although my degree is in Secondary Education, my passion for teaching younger children started back in high school when I worked in preschools and day care centers.

My favorite part of my job is seeing my students grow, not only academically and socially, but mostly in their knowledge and love of the Lord.

I have a wonderful husband, two sons, a daughter and son-in-law. When I am not working, I enjoy reading, walking my dog and spending time with my family. My favorite verse is Phil. 1:6, “ being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until day the of Christ Jesus”.

I’ve been a member of First Baptist church since 1997 and have been teaching at First Baptist Preschool since 2008. It is wonderful to be apart of your children’s academic growth. But most importantly, it is a blessing to me to help children learn about God and his son Jesus. I enjoy spending time with my husband and 2 children. Joshua 1:9
