Hi! I have been teaching at FBCM Weekday Preschool since 2021. I went to college for elementary education and directed church children’s ministries for ten years before becoming a preschool teacher. My husband’s job led us to North Carolina in 2018. I grew up in Green Bay, Wisconsin and like to consider myself a “cheesehead”. We have three boys and a girl, all of whom attended or are currently enrolled at the preschool.

My cup is filled when I watch my students grow in knowledge and social skills. You’ll see a lot of hands-on learning through play in my classroom. I enjoy coming up with creative ways to learn. Teaching kids how to love learning is my favorite.

I worked last year as a substitute assistant and I am very excited to be joining FBCM full time! I'm looking forward to your children being in the Fireflies Classroom. My husband David and I enjoy going to races and
camping.
