Katie Daley

Hi! I have been teaching at FBCM Weekday Preschool since 2021. I went to college for elementary education and directed church children’s ministries for ten years before becoming a preschool teacher. My husband’s job led us to North Carolina in 2018. I grew up in Green Bay, Wisconsin and like to consider myself a “cheesehead”. We have three boys and a girl, all of whom attended or are currently enrolled at the preschool.

I am a three year-old teacher through and through. My cup is filled when I watch my students grow in knowledge and social skills. You’ll see a lot of hands-on learning through play in my classroom. I truly enjoy coming up with creative ways to learn. Teaching kids how to love learning and be successful socially is my favorite.

I live with my husband, 11 year old son, and our adorable little dog, Jack! My husband’s job brought us to North Carolina. I grew up in India and had all of my education there. I gained a Master’s degree in history at a college in Orissa, India. I was a teacher at the Montessori school Compassion International Mission School as a third grade teacher in India. I joined joined FBCM Weekday Preschool in 2021. My passion is to teach children! Other than that, I love to be involved in my church's activities. I am excited over the moon to teach your children this year!
