Hi! I’m Jessica, and I’m so excited to be the Lead Teacher for the Ladybugs! My husband and I moved to Mooresville in 2012 after graduating from Georgia Southern University, and we’ve been grateful to call this community home ever since.

My love for FBCM Weekday Preschool began when our daughter started here at age 2. Since then, I’ve volunteered, substituted, helped with camp, and served as an assistant teacher. I’m so excited to be back and look forward to a wonderful year with the Ladybugs!

Hi, my name is Judy Padgett.   

I’ve had the joy of teaching at First Baptist Church of Mooresville’s Weekly Preschool for the past five years, and I can’t imagine a more rewarding way to spend my semi-retirement days than surrounded by little ones full of wonder and sweetness! When I’m not singing my ABC’s I relax with historical biographies, tracing my ancestry, and antique shopping with my younger sister.

Our teaching staff is one I’m truly proud to work alongside. We are encouraging, creative and compassionate, and we bring Gods love into everything we do with your children. The staff is passionate about faith based early childhood education, and brings both experience and heart to every classroom day.

I am a graduate of Saint Leo University in Central Florida. I was born and raised In a small town just off of Florida’s beautiful West Coast.

Family means everything to me. I have one son, Matthew, who graduated from Appalachian State University in 2010. I am happy and blessed with two beautiful granddaughters! They are my heart and soul, both are grade schoolers now and proud alumni of this very preschool ! 

I feel so fortunate to get to love and nurture your children in a fun, faith filled classroom, all while watching them grow and succeed!
