Lead Teacher ~ Ms. Amanda
Hi! My name is Ms. Amanda and I am excited to teach the Caterpillars class this year! I grew up in Statesville, NC. I graduated from Western Carolina University with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. I earned my Master of Arts degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Biblical Counseling. I worked for 10 years in healthcare management before becoming a stay-at-home mom. My husband, Kyle and I have a daughter named McLain and a son, named Hudson. I am looking forward to a great year of learning, new adventures and fun!

Teacher Assistant ~ Ms. Jenn
I have been part of the preschool community for many years, first as a parent and, for the past four years, as a substitute teacher. Last year, I also had the opportunity to assist in the Caterpillars class, which made me even more excited to become more involved in the classroom. This preschool holds a very special place in my heart because both of my boys attended here. Having experienced it as both a parent and a teacher, I know firsthand what a loving and special environment it is for children to learn, grow, and make lasting memories. I truly enjoy getting to know each child and helping them feel loved, confident, and excited to come to school each day. I am so excited for another wonderful year! Outside of preschool, I love spending time with my husband, Luke and our two sons, Jack and Frank.

Teacher Assistant ~ Ms. Kelly
Hi, my name is Kelly Compton. This is my third year with the preschool. Before coming to work at the preschool, I worked as a TA for MGSD. Since retiring, I have been helping with my two grandchildren.
My husband and I have two sons, Brett and Curtis, with two daughter in laws, Becky and Molly. We have two grandchildren, Macie and Wyatt.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading, camping, and spending time with family. Weekends usually consist of doing things with family, either at dance competitions, dirt bike races, and attending church.
